• Primary Color: Red ((Team RWBY’s colors must be included too))

• Environment: Cold

• Her clothes have to be combat orientated and in match with her style, more importantly, it must be theoretically and/or easy to cosplay.

• The animators must also have an easy time animating them in their attire.

• In a perfect show, Ruby would be more careful, cautious, and protective of her special eyes in going through the effort to have something covering her eyes from them getting injured/taken like snow goggles on her to keep them safe! She’s well aware Salem and her minions will either kill Silver Eyed Warriors, blind them or torture them so uh Ruby…keep your eyes safe! There’s a reason why so many people theorize Ruby losing an eye and that’s because she exposes them so much and also they just want Ruby to give a damn about her eyes at all even if they get injured one day… which is too little too late but WHATEVER!!!

• Her emblem brooch is the same but instead of silver it’s now golden up to represent the Xiao Long side of her, a golden rose. I’d like for Ruby to have more yellow on her since it’s the only way I can think of for her to be more connected to Tai and Yang without rewriting the show or running over to the next supplemental material of RWBY to just see Ruby interact with her family, looking at you too Yang. When I do a redesign I try not to change anything from the canon show… I just give them a new outfit. But sometimes I might actually rewrite the show or put in my headcanons… sorry I try not to.

• Now long-time followers of mine may notice that my redesign of Ruby looks similar to Cinder’s redesign I did for her in Atlas and there’s a reason for that which I’ll explain and expand upon once I make another post on Cinder’s Atlas redesign attire.
