The Meaning of his Eyes.
This is loosely based on real events. Events that I am not proud of. This is partially why the page took forever to make. It was not a comfortable piece to make. But it helped me make peace with my past. What I've done, cannot be undone and that's okay. I can move on, learn from it and become better as a result. Now I can only put the work in to not make the same mistakes again.
And, if the relationships I've made and kept ever since are anything to tell, I believe I'm doing alright.
Some things still haunt me. Some will never stop. That's okay. What's important is that I stopped thinking of what ifs, and what should've, could've, or would've happened. I laid most of these thoughts to rest.
I was forgiven. And I finally accepted that forgiveness. Time to get back into gear and keep going.
