Do you feel the same way about other 'reformed' villains, like Discord and Sunset Shimmer?

Meh, I can forgive teasing from a young filly.

Especially if she's willing to be better from now on (which she is).

As far as unpardonable sins... DT's are FAR from that.

I think the majority of the fanbase will embrace her now.

Everyone's entitled to their opinion, of course.

It does seem a bit ironic that you're against a few unpleasant remarks from a small child, yet would be quite happy to see a man jump off a tall building to his death (For the terrible crime of making awful music).

Well, it's all projection. The world is the projected, our mind the projector.
So when he sees DT its his interpretation of her.
She is mirroring parts of him he is not able or willing to see in himself.
