I figured I draw Solar as a Wehrmacht Soldier, because it seemed to fit.(Note: He isn't a Nazi, or Waffen SS.)

Aimee was only a part of the main four.
I still love the WWII theme of the are since it does reflect the comic. Aimee liked it too ;3
But the shading is a bit weird. Sorry if that sounds harsh, a lot of beginner artist start with using to spary tool or blurring everything for shading. Which some artist make it look good as they improve,but if you don't plan on working on that more then I sould suggest a more bolder or strict kind of shading.
And I could see that you were going for a more darker mood for this picture but the black takes away from the background and even Nazi Solar. Either choose a color that doesn't dominate so much yet still gets the job done or go easy on the black.
I don't wanna seem mean just....I use to do this same stuff in 2013 and this is what I would tell my past self .

Yeah, I'm fairly new to the photo editing software, as pencil and paper dominated my drawing style, and since it was more monotone, I could use the values in a way that wasn't too bad. This also means I SUCK at color, but I only now realized that thanks to you. (This is what criticism is for, right?) I'm also a newbie when it comes to lighting.
So, what I'm gathering from this is that I should lighten up the shadows(?), and this should look much better, right?

It's not meant to be mean, it's just meant to state the truth. And I can see you tried to make it as truthful as possible, and I can definitely appreciate that

It's ok, like I said I made the same mistakes before. You can see that in my older art.... definitely my old speedpaints.
