Agreed! There's one DA group specifically for people who hate that Fred was killed off and create fanart/fanfics that resolve the problem one way or another. For all I know, there could be a similar group on DA or otherwise regarding Remus and/or Tonks. Could be worth looking into.

Hey, for every literary work/movie/etc, there's always at least one person who disagrees with the direction the writer took, especially if at least one major character gets killed off just to prove stupid points or mirror the beginning (ie: Teddy quickly becoming an orphan just like his godfather Harry was).

It says something when there's not only an entire fan faction of "Fred Lives!"-type people, but that pretty much every review I've seen of the third "Divergent" series book sums up to "Don't read this, it's garbage. Make up your own series ending." I've only read the first and a preview of the second myself so far, but considering the trend of "Everything Goes to Hell in the Last Book", I can believe it.

Of course there are, that's half of what a fandom is
rowling said that she killed them because she saved Arthur Weasly in the fifth book, and that just annoys me. She could have just let them live.

Don't I know it. And me! Or killed off Percy instead! The second of my "Re-Fredding"/"Fred survived" fics, "Penance for Percy" , has him playing servant for them as retribution for his role in the explosion incident since Fred is (temporarily) paralyzed Princess Bride-style. And I used Percy as a resurrection sacrifice in a song parody, "Re-Fredding Sequence" based on the "Funeral Sequence" song from "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum".
