It'd keep circulating all over the heavenly realm, talk of a monster made god incarnate would weasel its way into any and all activities for Beerus much to his increasing annoyance who had more than enough of dealing with pretenders to the throne. Finally after one chat too many, he traveled down to the mortal realms to see once and for all if this "Godzilla" had earned such a pompous name.

Let's start with the most important bits, I did not make these models. Beerus comes from XV2 and was ported to XPS by MrUncleBingo while Minus One Godzilla is a model by Byneet that was ported over to XPS by WOLFBLADE111 and the city comes from FighterZ and was ported by HiGuys920. The only and I mean the ONLY thing I can take credit for is my tweaking of Minus One Goji's textures to be a little more Heisei in flavor.

Anyways, Godzilla Minus One was an absolute stomper. Of course at this point? You really don't need me to say since we live in such a crazy timeline where a Godzilla movie has received basically unanimous praise from fans and critics with it even pulling off the absolutely mad feat of being the first Godzilla film to be nominated for an Oscar which to me is still unreal to the point where frankly? I don't care if it wins or loses, the fact it got the nomination at all is big. We've certainly come a long way from when King of the Monsters 2019 came out and was unabashedly a love letter to the whole franchise only to wind up being really only loved by hardcore fans. Hell the movie's so good it's making new fans out of people and has set the bar high for what modern Godzilla can achieve. I've seen this film twice, once in color and again in black and white, I'm going to watch the hell out of the Blu-Ray once it finally drops and so right now? I'm in a very Godzilla mood and considering we're due for another monster bash come March and I'm also in a Dragon Ball mood thanks to the upcoming release of Daima and Sparking Zero, I thought I'd have some fun and dust off the XNA for this image which is based on a fact that's always been fun to think about for me. So universally, we all recognize Godzilla as the King of the Monsters. Ever since 1956, that's a title that has stuck with him and has been referenced by multiple films but funnily enough? In Japan, Toho has seemingly taken a bit of a different approach for in the Japanese films? I don't recall him being referred to as that. What he is however called on more than one occasion is a god incarnate or a God of Destruction. This is taken further in media like Godzilla Singular Point where he's basically prophesized as being the bringer of the apocalypse with the novelization taking this even further by stating he is the physical extension of an omnipresent extradimensional deity which even though that doesn't go for all Godzillas is pretty nuts. So with that in mind? I thought I'd have a bit of fun by making this little image of Beerus confronting the Big G after a rampage. Who would win? Don't care, this is just for enjoyment. A way to celebrate my love of both series.
