And this one in particular is what I'd consider to be one of my best pieces. So now for the backstory behind this because obviously, aside from Goku, no one really looks like they're SSG and depending on how you viewed that one transformation, you might even say that Vegeta looks more like he's an SSBE than an SSG and that I'm just blind as a bat and I wouldn't blame you but please hear me out. So back when Battle of Gods first came out, of course a lot of talk was swirling about Super Saiyan God since at the time, it was unlike anything we had ever seen before in Dragon Ball. It was a transformation with weight to it, a form that you felt the power of and design-wise was a lot more simple and streamlined from the excessively muscular, furry tattooed things we were seeing people put up and at the end of the movie, Goku made it clear to Vegeta that it will be his turn next time and with that? The theories started swirling around as well as the fanart and quite a good deal of it did portray Vegeta as having the standard red hair but there were quite a few pieces of art that decided to take things in a different route and proposed the idea of SSG having a different hair color for every new user of the form with Vegeta in particular getting blue hair to naturally contrast Goku's red and judging from the poster for Resurrection F with the colored lightning? That seemed to be the hint but we know how that turned out. Still the idea of the different hair colors always stuck with me and so when I was watching this video showing off story mode cutscenes in FighterZ with PC mods installed? One of the cutscenes had Goku and Vegeta standing side-by-side as the red-haired SSG which gave me the idea.

And so this image was born. Now Goku and Vegeta are traced off of that video and let me tell you guys something. Tracing off 3D models compared to 2D drawings will be a near constant source of irritation since there are a lot more details you have to consider and also there's the matter of shading which is in particular a major pain in the dick because of course, 3D images have another dimension that you have to work with that makes trying to transform them into 2D just very tricky and that's especially when you're trying to blend them with another 2D image, in this case a trace of the FighterZ render of Gohan. I think what was kind of the most fun I had was picking out the colors since of course with these being God forms, I wanted to make sure the colors were as close to how I felt these forms would look if this was the idea they went with. As for the shading, I went for only one shade to keep things simple and I was very careful to make sure that I didn't go over anything that was non-important in terms of detail for the piece and all in all, you're left with this image.
