This is a picture of my dragon self Quillan I had drawn and submitted a while ago but I decided she needed a little digital touch so I've been working on this for a while when I've had the chance to sit my arse down in front of the computer to work on something as time noming as this... And I'm liking what I'm seeing so far |D

I've started to practice my shading skills now that I've had a butt load of practice thanks to all the wonderful and lovely members at MysticalEquine.com ([link] ) and their awesome characters presenting a challenge to me while I auctioned off some tags for the site <3<3<3 Any pointers on shading would be greatly appreciated as I'm only just starting with that in the digital medium >.>

lol Anywho onto more of the picture. To clarify if you can't tell, that "green stuff" is fire <3 Quillan's natural flame colour is various shades of green but when she's flown into a rage, usually when her loved ones are in danger, her flame changes into a rich black colour. Her mane actually only spans from her forehead to just slightly after the base of her skull. It slowly recedes forming into her spine poking through her scales.

To get a better gander at her markings here's a link to the side ref I made of her a while ago: [link] o.O The tip of her tail is actually "fluffy" like it is on this dragon here: [link] I just ran out of room with Quillan -laughs- It's like the Asian dragons tail

Anywho, this is a WIP only in the sense that I want to try and put a background on it at some point but my hand and fingers hurt so much from gripping the mouse while drawing this that I couldn't possibly draw anymore tonight, and that's besides the fact that I had another tag order on ME to do regardless of how easy it was to finish @,@ lol

Bleh, I really need to do a ref sheet for this girl @,@ I just really don't feel like drawing the damn thing myself right now lmao xD Pfft, since there were no ref sheets out there I made my own lol Here you go: [link]
