Description
Okay so this is just a quick little tutorial explaining a couple ways to finish seams. I've noticed a lot of people don't properly finish their seams when they make costumes so things sometimes end up falling apart well before you want them to~I will also be doing this as a video tutorial soon.
There is also a tutorial for Advanced Seam Finishing techniques here:
I wrote out this entire tutorial myself, including making all those little drawings. So if you wish to repost this somewhere please ask me first.
If anyone had any questions feel free to ask!

Great tutorial! I'm glad you took the time to talk about finishing edges for those of us who don't have sergers.
It would be cool if you did a sort of 'advanced' finishing tutorial to talk about clean finish, french, mock-french, flat-felled, and bound seams, for more ambitious sewers.

Well done! I just taught these techniques in my Sewing 201 panel.
As a suggestion, you might want to mention on zigzag/mock serged finishes--sometimes if the fabric is very flexible (i.e. 100% cotton), the edge will curl if you use this finish. Loosening the upper tension helps a bit.
I love this series of tutorials you're doing. Keep up the great work!
