Well, the Daizenshuu throw place it here:
The announcement of the Cell Games
Clash!! 10,000,000,000 Powerful Warriors (Movie 6)
The curtain rises on the Cell Games

However, I'm tweaking things and placing it during the 3 years of training for the Jinzoningen. Trying to combine the Jinzoningen-Cell, Movies 6, 7, 8 and Plan to Eradicate the (Super) Saiyans into a single flowing story would be terrible, Its much easier to spread things out a bit.

This makes me wonder how the other movies will fit in. Return my Gohan is obviously before the series.

Well, placement doesn't really spoil anything beyond what I've already said elsewhere, sooooo, here:

DB Movie 1: Fits where I already placed it, merged with the first arc. You can read the changes already.
DB Movie 2: Fits where I already placed it, merged with the second arc. You can read the changes already.
DB Movie 3: Basically discarded, though elements will be scattered into the project.
DB Movie 4: Basically discarded, though elements will be scattered into the Red Ribbon Arc.

DBZ Movie 1: Fits at the beginning of the Z portion of the series. Relatively unchanged.
DBZ Movie 2: Fits in after the Saiyan Arc. Will be having it occur before Goku leaves for Namek, but after Gohan/Bulma/Kuririn leave.
DBZ Movie 3: Fits into the Saiyan Arc. Will be stuffing Tullece and his crew into the Saiyan battle.
DBZ Movie 4: Fits where it belongs, during the time the gang is on Namek. Will be mixing Freeza and Slug together into a larger struggle with the other factions for the Dragon Balls on Namek.
DBZ Movie 5: Fits where it belongs, after Freeza but before Jinzoningen. Will be stuffed into the training for the Jinzoningen, towards the beginning of that time period.
DBZ Movie 6: Fits a year or two before it was originally depicted. Will be stuffed into the training for the Jinzoningen, towards the end of that time period. Unsure if Coola will go after Earth or New Namek though.
DBZ Movie 7: Fits where it belongs, in the Jinzoningen Arc. Movie itself will be completely overhauled with the bots being incorporated in a new version of the Jinzoningen Arc.
DBZ Movie 8: Fits where it belongs, around the Jinzoningen and Cell Arcs. Will be stuffed between the two of them and used as a bridging point.
DBZ Movie 9: Fits where it belongs, after the Cell Arc. Relatively unchanged.
DBZ Movie 10: Fits where it belongs, before the Buu Arc. Relatively unchanged, slight alterations to fit with my changes to the Saiyaman and Buu stuff.
DBZ Movie 11: Fits about 10 years after originally depicted. Completely overhauled.
DBZ Movie 12: Fits where it belongs, during the Buu Arc. Will be relatively unchanged, though the lead in will be completely different.
DBZ Movie 13: Fits where it belongs, sometime after the Buu Arc. Will be relatively unchanged.

DBZ Special 1 (Bardock): Fits where it belongs, at the birth of Goku. Will be merged with TV Filler, Special 5 and DBO.
DBZ Special 2 (Trunks): Fits where it belongs, after the Jinzoningen attack. Will most likely be merged with the manga version of the special.
DBZ Special 3 (Hatchihyack): Basically discarded, though elements will be scattered into the Bebi Arc and the appropriate backstory.
DBZ Special 4 (Tarble): Fits about 10 years after it was originally set. Is being merged with Neko Majin Z.
DBZ Special 5 (SS Bardock): Fits where it belongs, in the past as part of the SS legend. Merged with Special 1 and DBO, replaces Wakame's portion of the legend.

DBGT Special 1: Fits in where it belongs, 100 years after Bebi. Slightly rewritten to remove contradictions with DBO and some other absurdities.

Is there going to be a goku jr because I don't see how he looks just like goku is possible and vegeta junior to

Yeah, Goku Junior and Vegeta Junior are still in. They look like their ancestors because their hair is styled that way, not because it is their natural look; similar to Gohan and Goten and their changing hair styles.

Yeah, but I'm not gonna change their names just because of that. Plenty of other stuff in the series that makes less sense than that. lol

I think anything under half-breeds would technically be consider more Earthling than Saiyan. But, any offspring with Saiyan genes that obtains Super Saiyan will probably be favored as a Saiyan, regardless of the blood percentage, since that isn't something Earthlings are capable of.

Nice one yet strange for me since I thought that a Freezer-type race transformation one after another gives a big power boost so if Freezer himself in his 4th form 100% was almost equel to a SSJ then Cooler in his 5th form should be somewhere near female cyborg C18. More then that a Metal Cooler 5th form that was never showned should be a total overkill. xD

The-Devils-Corpse In reply to JJJawor [2012-03-09 06:13:58 +0000 UTC]

Coola should be weaker than Freeza's 100% power, therefor part of the boost he gets from his transformation would be bridging that gap. Coola would be lucky to be stronger than 19 and 20 after they start absorbing energy.

BTW, the Mecha Coola isn't the real Coola, he's no longer organic and so he doesn't get stronger by transforming. It's just something he does out of habit because it made him stronger when he was flesh and bone, so he feels stronger when in that form.

JJJawor In reply to The-Devils-Corpse [2012-03-09 10:29:57 +0000 UTC]

Well ... I see a 100% Freezer and 5th transformation Cooler as something similiar to a USSJ Trunks and fullpowerSSJ Goku vs Cell. Better yet consider this ... Cooler was mostly (every time we see him) in his 4th form (nothing below)and Freezer was in his 1st one which means that they could master (better use) their transformation in which they were the most.

As for a Metal 5th form Cooler I may not see him stronger then when he had flesh and bones but consider that he could instantly rebuild anytime and would be a nice opponent for a Super Saiyajin.

Thank you for the nice conversation because I find it intersting and refreshing since it brings a new view on some aspect on the series.

The-Devils-Corpse In reply to JJJawor [2012-03-09 11:59:56 +0000 UTC]

I don't really agree, given all the information we are told in the series and guidebooks.

Freeza chose to create his lower forms because he had difficulty controlling his ki. That's one of the reasons why he buffs up when using 100% of his power. He doesn't seem to train so he hasn't put any effort into controlling it, therefor it is sort of unstable and forced, so his body has to expand to handle it properly. Given enough time and dedication, Freeza could probably master his power with training and thus he could stay slim like Coola and get rid of the need to have the restricting transformations. But, since he's Freeza, who typically just sits on his throne, he has to limit his power with these restrictive transformations that act like a shell to contain his power down to a level he can handle and not blow up or break everything without trying.

On the other hand, Coola doesn't have any forms like Freeza because he can control his ki. He has full control of his power while in his true form, the one he was born in, and so he had no need to create forms to limit his power like his brother did. He's just always in his natural state. His "5th" transformation is like his races version of Super Saiyan though, he transforms to gain more power than he had before. When overly stressed, and presumably when knocked out, he reverts back to his true form. You can see this in movie 5 after Goku blasts him into the sun, right before impact with the star, he returns to his normal stage we had saw him in before.

Oh, and Mecha Coola, regardless of which form he takes, would be the same level of a threat though. Both forms would be the same strength, both can rebuild, both can replicate as an army. The Super Saiyan would have the same challenge from both versions.

Ah yes ... I haven't analyzed well enough that Freezer indeed had difficulties in controling his strenght. You also explained to me nicely why Cooler before the moment he touched the sun changed back to his original state.

Very good ... thank you for the explenation.

That's probably a better classification, at least for Coola anyway. I'm pretty sure I have a lot of errors on these sheets because I just try to fly through them and rarely think about the stuff I'm writing down. >.>

That would have done nothing for him. His metal body was entirely controlled and powered by the Big Ghetti Star. Any changes would have been purely cosmetic.

nice, but does the part where it's said that his brother had a longer hibernation than him mean that his brother's true form is stronger than his?

The-Devils-Corpse In reply to Gfan1 [2012-03-07 21:06:10 +0000 UTC]

Yes. I'm not following the "logic" of the movie. Freeza shouldn't boast about being the strongest in the universe and then get so upset at being surpassed by Goku if his brother had already done it even before his transformation.

👍: 0 ⏩: 2

Gfan1 In reply to The-Devils-Corpse [2012-03-08 20:13:32 +0000 UTC]

that does make a lot more sense and even in the movie it does kind elude to the fact that frieza beat his brother but then his brother discovered his transformation and that's what made him superior

👍: 0 ⏩: 0

Xevoz In reply to The-Devils-Corpse [2012-03-08 00:02:44 +0000 UTC]

Actually Your Logic is Spot On.
Cooler said Frieza always had the "edge" probably meaning Frieza was stronger than him UNTIL he learned how to transform (which eh also said eh had never shown to anyone before)
So i think 5th Form Cooler>4th Form Frieza>4th Form Cooler

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

The-Devils-Corpse In reply to Xevoz [2012-03-08 01:01:27 +0000 UTC]

That's what is said in the Funimation version, but that is never brought up in the original Japanese version I'm basing all this off of. The movie takes place in an illogical timeline where Goku's base form surpassed his SS self on Namek. Coola even says it himself that he could see how base Goku defeated his brother, but that same power wont be able to beat him.
