Bio:
The Planet Sharks, a formidable organization formed long ago by the space Pirate Chilled, seeks out talented individuals with exceptionally high battle powers from throughout the universe and "recruits" them as they conquer more and more territory. The most exceptional of these recruits are often promoted to high ranking, executive positions within the organization.

In AGE 734, after King Cold’s retirement as head of the Planet Sharks, Prince Freeza is promoted to the position. In response to the formation of his brother Coola's Armored Squad, Freeza decides to establish his own elite task force. As the strongest "freelance" warrior of the organization and one of the few men who pure-heartedly reveres the tyrants in charge, Ginyu was selected to serve as the squad's captain despite having originally competed for the same spot on the Armored Squad. The rest of the members were to be recruited based on Ginyu's judgement of how useful they can make themselves, and the team, to Freeza.

Ginyu first approached the brothers Abo and Kado, but the duo prefers to work alone. Finding their red and blue appearances visually striking for the team poses he had in mind, Ginyu approaches Bonyu "The Brains" for the first member of his elite squad. While initially hesitant due to the Captain's habit of striking strange poses, she agrees to join and serves in a reconnaissance role for the group. Ginyu followed up by approaching the "Blue Hurricane" Butta and his teammate/best friend, the "Red Magma" Jheese. Along with their incredible power, Butta's immense speed and Jheese's incredible accuracy with his attacks would make them great assets. Next up was Reacoom, who Ginyu sought after witnessing his nimble dance moves and poses in the shower. Not only was he agile, though, he was also incredibly durable. The final member of the "Ginyu Special Squad", Ghurd, actually approached the Captain about joining. While the Captain was hesitant to the idea due to his lower battle power, his psychic powers and ability to alter his opponent's perception of time made him an unexpectedly formidable asset.

Notes:
New outfits from during their early years, when everyone under Cold had very similar uniforms. Ginyu also has a new body based on a Toyotaro artwork of how he obtained the standard purple one we know.
