Breath control is a skill one MUST learn when doing macro. Human respiration (breath-mints or not) is as good an eviction notice to a bug as the heavy scent of smoke of a forest fire.
The greater the magnification, the more sensitive the photographic requirements; the simple act of breathing is like photography in small boat in high seas.
At least breathing is one of the bodily functions you can control...
