Spent roughly an hour out in the yard, waiting & watching for the appearance of any of the Leaf Cutter Bees... without success.
I was kinda disappointed & decided to call it quits. Instead of going straight into the house though, I walked over & set my camera on the patio table.

It seems the reason I hadn't see any of them was because I was looking in the wrong direction! Turns out they're also raiding leaves from my next door neighbor's roses too.
LOL! As soon as I'd taken my hand off my camera, one of the bees flew past my face with a leaf section in it's mandibles, landed on the patio literally 4 inches away from my foot & disappear between 2 of the stones!
AH HA! So that's where they've made their nest - under the patio stones beneath our shed!!

I managed to snap a couple of quick shots as this one was coming back out.
