The zenith of impractical footwear.These are shots of my monitor and the images on it's screen are from a video making the rounds on the internet
The shoes were made by an artist as a commentary on the ridiculousness of fashion.
Sadly there was NO reference on any of the sites as the name of the designer.
LOL! I couldn't help but think of Marty Feldman in "Young Frankenstein"
"Walk this way..."
These things make the lady walk like a zombie ballerina.

Great point... I don't think these "abnormal" shoes are that far away from the modern fashion the Designers dare to bring up the catwalks, spamming youngsters and average mainstream with the weird beauty ideals...

The artist made them as a statement on the ridiculous of high fashion.
Their outrageousness was so extreme though that in the rush to show them, the mainstream media seems forgotten to include any reference to who actually made them.

From what I understand the original artist made them as a tongue in cheek critique on the uselessness of the extremes in fashion.
When the video went viral and started getting promoted by the more mainstream media sources, it seems the references to the original artist got "lost".

LOL! I find the "Fashions For Men" collection by Yoko Ono to be just as useless...
A long sleeved mesh shirt with circular shoulder cutouts,
Tank tops with nipple cutouts,
There's one that's basically a flashing LED bra...
Things get no better below the waist.
There are pants with a high visibility hand print at the crotch...
and another pair has a circular see-thru mesh panel over the butt.
