First of all.... ADORABLE! They're so cute. You drew them in a perfect way. You have definitely gotten the proportions down. It looks realistic, amazing, and well thought out. Congrats!
Alright so time to nit pick.
I think it's time you use different brushes. Try blending out the lines and making smaller lines and just experimenting. Thick lines can make or break art. In this case, it's alright. But if you really want that realism, time for details. Speaking of details, I know this will be a huge pain. I think it would look better if you put a lot more detail into the little furs all over him. The lines can bring you back to the fact its not real. I think smaller furs that have a base and an end can make him look even fuzzier.
Anyways, I would also love for you to try a background. I'm sure it could make this a lot better.

Very cute! Even though I'm scared of spiders, recently I've been watching youtube videos of tarantula and exotic pets owners. I definitely wouldn't get one as a pet myself, but I can certainly see the appeal after watching those videos. It's interesting to learn about them and see how much the owners care about them.

Thanks. The thing about tarantula's when handling them is not to make them nervous or scared because two things will happen, It'll either bite you (it's venom only causes itching) or it'll launch a cloud of barbed hairs into your face

Yeah those are things I learned, I also didn't realize there are so many species of tarantulas. It's crazy! Some people don't like handling tarantulas unless necessary though right? Because they're pretty fragile for one, and they're not really pets where handling makes them bond with their owners. They're just spiders doing they're own thing. No amount of handling will make them be docile one day and then angry another because they feel threatened. Though I guess it's up to preference.
