your ability to do caricatures even down on the chibi scale will never cease to FLABBERGAST me even without the uniforms and a logical order, i'd be able to pick out which actor was which based on facial features. and i don't just mean "that one has a goatee so it must be riker"

also, i like your headcanon. though i would say that maybe we should allow a FEW episodes of DS9 though as specials or something. or at least the one where they go back in time and run around in "trouble with tribbles". beacuse i really like that episode. and i usually hate DS9 XDD

Doing that Enterprise G comic made me realise that there were still Star Trek crews to be chibified! And then when I thought of drawing them all in lineups then I knew it HAD to be done.

I've really been trying to capture a likeness when I do fanart. My normal thing would've been to just give Riker a beard and colour Data yellow and let that make them identifiable. But I want to get better at likenesses so I really tried to draw them properly on this. And also...it would be disrespectful to not depict them properly.

Well yeah...maybe a few episodes. For all my Deep Poop Nine bashing I know there were a few episodes that were good. That tribbles one was good. I totally forgot about that one. And those episodes when the Cardassians took over the station and there was a war with them...they were good. All those Starfleet ships flying into battle.

I don't think anyone is under the impression that Booby McBooberson wasn't put into that show to sexify it. But she was an interesting character. The whole human/borg thing made for some good shows. And she had the whole Vulcan stone face thing going on...and that's always a good thing. Did you just zing Troi? Oh wait...there was that chick on DS9 that wore a catsuit thing too. Yeah...zing her!

Me and a fellow trekkie I know always laugh about Harry. He always seems annoyed about something. Like he'd rather be in his quarters but they keep putting him on duty.

well you did an awesome job you've always been really good at caricatures, but looking through your gallery you can definitely see steady improvement too

epic space battles are ALWAYS WIN even the one at the end of the futurama movie "bender's big score" got me pumped

also there was that fail!vulcan lady from the fail!prequal series that never happened and kes. kes was okay enough, but she really didn't work to try to sex her up at... what was it, the end of season 3? it's been too long since i watched the episodes in any kind of logical order, i can't keep them straight XD;;;

i think harry looked annoyed because his actor was annoyed that he never got any character development that really stuck all his love interests ended up dead or evil, he died/got mortally wounded all the time but he'd get better and everyone had forgotten it by next week, he could never be promoted, and he had to stay the "cute, nervous, obedient one" to keep the crew personality dynamics interesting XD but personally i don't care; i like him that way he is the ultimate star trek woobie and i love it XDDDD

It's been awhile since I've seen those movies. I need to watch them again. I liked that space battle in the first season where the aliens came to Earth because a t.v show hadn't arrived to their t.v sets.

They made a Star Trek prequel series? That sounds like something I will never watch nor acknowledge having existed. I don't even know what I'm talking about at this very instant. Cupcakes? Yeah Kes left in season three. She did suddenly get long hair though. I guess maybe that was an attempt to sexify her. But I guess it didn't work so they got rid of her and wheeled in shiny boobs.

It's kind of strange though because he must be the only ensign in Starfleet history to be delegated such huge responsibilities. I mean...he got to sit in on the command crew briefings. But maybe that's why he was so pissed. He was doing all this work yet he was still an ensign. He should've stormed into Janeway's ready room and said "Is it because I'm asian?" I love how he started crushing on Seven of Boobs though. A borg chick comes on board and in his mind he goes "Oh yeah. I need to hit that."

A woobie describes him perfectly. I know I've watched shows going "Take that Harry! :mwahaha" and then ten minutes later gone "Come on! Heal him you bastards! "

oh i know kes left within the first few eps of season four, i just cant remember at what point she went from "cute" to "sex kitten" XD

i think harry getting more clout has to do with a lot of the senior officers dying or being replaced by maquis... yes he's technically an ensign for bookeeping purposes, but he's like... the only one on the command crew other than the captain and tuvok who went through all the official star fleet training and WASN'T ever a fugitive but ho god, pulling the azn card... i'd LOVE to see that

i loved how blunt seven was about it. didn't she suggest at one point they just strip and do it right there so he can get back to work instead of being horny and distracted?

It was indeed. I can never remember the name of the show. That episode had their very first big space battle in that series. It was very Star Warsy.

I can't remember either. Was it...at the start of the third season? Was there even a reason for her new look? Oh wait...she had some weird aging thing didn't she? Maybe her new look was part of that.

Did you know that the maquis were set up in TNG specifically to lay groundwork for Voyager? Because they were. You forgot Paris. He went through official training and he wasn't a maquis. He also built the Delta Flyer and that shuttlecraft was cool. How could you forget him? Hmmmmmmmmmmm...I guess you're right. Janeway had that whole thing about everyone working together and putting the right people in the right jobs and she wouldn't promote Harry just to keep any traitors from having important positions.

Yeah she did! I remember that now. I think Harry was all nervous and trying to ask her out or something and she just stops and says they should have sex...which made Harry choke and walk away.

i think my older sister might've mentioned the thing about the maquis in TNG... i know she talks about TNG/DS9/voyager crossover things a lot

i didn't forget about paris at all! they hired him straight from a prison; i was counting him under "has been a fugitive" XD also, he knew chakotay previously... didn't he run with the maquis for a LITTLE while?

Yeah...a REAL little while. He got arrested on his first maquis mission. After he was court-martialed by Starfleet he became a drunk or something and then Chakotay recruited him to the maquis. I don't know...I guess because Paris was part of the initial Voyager crew I never think of him as being part of the maquis group.

The strange thing is...the guy who played Paris was in an episode of TNG where he was responsible for a ship exploding and ended up getting kicked out of Starfleet.

So that same guy gets a role in Voyager playing a character who kinda did the same thing...yet they are two different people.

I did think about putting the Batman Returns Catwoman in there, because I couldn't remember a lot of comic book costumes. But then I got some reference of the comic book costumes and saw there were quite a lot so I decided to leave the movie one out. Someone else is going to do their own Catwomen picture and put the movie version one in anyway so I thought I'd let him do it.

Most comic movies I've seen really can't work the costume. The only one's I've been impressed by are the Marvel movies. NOW THEY KNOW HOW TO MAKE A COOL COSTUME COME TO LIFE!

I can't watch Batman Begins without laughing at the eye hole things. It looks HORRIBLE! His eyes... ERG >:I

I totally forgot about that movie. I must've blocked it out of my memory.

Marvel movies have an advantage because Marvel is involved. The comic book people get to have some input into it. The D.C ones don't. The movie just go off and make the movie they want to and D.C doesn't get to see it until it's finished. The eyeholes on Batman didn't bother me. He'd had eyeholes in the four movies before it so it was just more of the same thing.

There's Thor, Captain America AND The Avengers next year.

If he does then that will be awesome. The guy they have at D.C that is responsible for getting movies and cartoons made has no idea about comics so they need Johns to go and help everything be awesome.

So you can get comics again? There was actually heaps of stuff I wanted to read last time I went. I probably could've spent 100 dollars easily if I got everything I wanted.

That Incredible Hercules comic got heaps of good reviews. Quite a few people told me about how great it was. So whenever I see it I always get tempted to read it to see what all the excitement was about.

Nah, haven't seen the trailer. I read a description of it but haven't seen it. I didn't think they'd released it yet. I better check Youtube.

I go to the comic store every week and spend about a little over 20 dollars. There is a second hand book store across the street and it is my love cause they have so much awesome back issues

20 dollars is about average for me too. Unless I'm having a particularly greedy week. And I guess it depends on whether I'm in the mood for a new collection. The second hand book stores around here have stopped stocking a lot of comics. And they've put the prices up on the ones they do have anyway. So even second hand you still end up paying 3-4 dollars.

What about the Captain America trailer? Have you seen that one?
