Of COURSE there are only three series. It would be futile foolish to think otherwise.
While I admittedly am not a great fan of Star Trek, I will say that TNG was REALLY COOL from what I watched of it while it was living on various channels lol (and it was kind of the ONLY star trek i watched xDD)
Patrick Stewart is on my list of Badass Older Gentlemen Whom I Love Greatly
And Data stole my heart especially when he got Spot that was so jskljf yes.
And Jordi's visor actually plays Reading Rainbow AND YOU ALL KNOW IT
and Whorf is fucking cute
and aklsgklsklsfjf okay everyone is great in TNG
that is all;;;;;;

Sadly there are a lot of Trekkies who think Deep Space Nine was good. I seem to be in the minority about what series counts and what doesn't.
That was the power of TNG. It made people who'd never cared about Star Trek before watch it. It seemed to transcend nerdy sci-fi and become general entertainment. And then they made two shitty movies with them and came close to ruining all the work they'd done.
Strange that Shatner has never appealed to you. I would've thought his attitude would've been right up your alley.
And then you could go into the whole thing of what he does to those young crewmen he has.
WAIT! NO! FORGET I SAID THAT!

Those Trekkies have obviously suffered brain damage from being in such deep space for so long. Even I know that one sucked.
YES, THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT TNG DID it was amazing
...Actually, Sulu has always been my favorite. c:>
besides, the only one for shatner is nimoy.

I recognize MOST of them. . .In actuality I'm having the most trouble with the Voyager cast. Crew. Cast crew. Whatever.
But I always liked Odo.
Seven of Nine was cool too.
DATA!!!

But...isn't that the show you saw a lot of?
The Voyager crew goes: Seven of Boobs, B'Ellana Torres, Tom Paris, Chakotay, Janeway, Tuvok, The Doctor, Ensign Kim and Neelix.
You can like Odo if you like. He annoyed the shit out of me. But that's just me. You just keep on liking him.
Data has a wang you know.

No. I saw a lot of TNG, a little of Voyager. . .and a few scenes from the original.
The Doctor. All ominous like.
Well. . .mainly I liked his shapeshifting. He himself could've lightened the feck up.
I didn't know. I mean I know Brent Spiner does, but I thought Data was supposed to be a Ken doll down there.

He's called The Doctor because he's just a hologram. He's an emergency hologramatic doctor that starships use in an emergency. But because Voyager didn't have another doctor they had to use him all the time.
They ALL could've lightened up. They all just sat around brooding all the time.
Oh no, Data is fully functional...and he's been programmed in multiple techniques too.

The directors probably thought it was so clever, making a hologram doctor. What they fail to realize is that people like me are unimpressed by their clever thinkings. If it's more likely for them to have a real doctor, a hologram is totally overdoing it.
Not always, always. But it was a pretty heavy show.
Now you're just leading me on. Leading me on cause you know I used to have a crush on Data and now you're giving me. . .scenes.

There's something very funny about someone saying "You may be clever...but I'm not impressed." It worked for the situation. Voyager was thrown across the universe and a lot of the crew died. Sure there were people on board who had some medical knowledge but not enough in the case of surgeries or finding cures.
That's why they just used the hologramatic doctor. He was the best qualified on the ship.
I'm not. In fact...I'm directly quoting things Data has said himself.

I don't get it. How do I keep accidentally amusing you like that?
Ah, see, that's fine. Apparently I never saw enough of Voyager to notice that fact.
There's something very funny about a hologram being described as the "best qualified" in any kind of field.
Wow. See, I knew stuff like how he has a dream program, he breathes as a coolant act, and electric pulses simulate a heartbeat. But I knew nothing of southern comfort, so to speak.
Makes me wonder how they would've made a woman fully functional. How would she have monthly bleeding? Oil changes that happen to be red instead of oily brown?

How you word things certainly adds a lot. But still...the whole concept of not being impressed by cleverness was very funny.
Well he was still a person...kind of. He was a hologram based on a real person so he had that person's attitude and personality and the more they left him on the more he started to develop as a person. He even started wanting a proper name.
A menstruating android? But...if she had Data's super strength then that's a recipe for death and destruction!
That's probably why a female one was never made. I guess the program for having a boner is easier than the one for 'that time of the month'.
