Description Before anyone asks, because I got this allot at San Japan: No. Cosmo is not a little kid, or a person, dressed up in a suit. It is a poseable, up to scale(enough) plush/puppet that I made with interchangeable facial features. I also made one of Sonic, Tails, and Amy, but I haven't gotten good photos of them yet.

My eyeliner smudged while I was Chris during this photoshoot, because it was around almost a hundred degrees outside(in Texas) and I was sweating my ass off, and my hotel room door introduced itself to my left eye the night before, but I'm satisfied.

I really love how Cosmo came out! I knew I had to get some photos of her when I was near finished with her.

Chris- Me.
Cosmo- Wire and foam. Not a little kid or person dressed up. Haha!

Excellent cosplay and excellent doll! This is so lifelife I thought it was a scene from a live-action version of Sonic X, and the lost rings are a nice touch.

~hugs you~ I...love you now. I've been trying to make a perfect Chris cosplay myself, but because my hair's so long it's hard to get it all in my wig. (Plus I grew out of it, so I have to remake it.) So so far, you're the PERFECT CHRIS COSPLAYER EVER!!! ~applauds~ I will say there's just one flaw with your costume, and that's that Chris has these white stripes across his thighs. To make my jeans like that, I sewed on leftover material from the white shirt that I used to make Chris' shirt.

Plus it's also hard to pull off a convincing Chris cosplay when your lugging aroundΒ almost D-sized breasts.Β (Referring to me. They're actually a 42-C, but they could fit in a D-sized bra if the numbering was small enough.)

Yep! The mouth and eyes can be swapped out, and I have different types of eyelids to give her more range in differing emotions(but I didn't have those at the time of this shoot). All of them have velcro attached on the back.

Tell me about it. Especially in San Antonio, a very urban city with not much trees and stuff around. All that asphalt and concrete to add to the already hot weather.

Thanks! I want to get more pictures taken and some decent photos of the Sonic, Tails, and Amy I made, sometime soon. Just gotta find the right day and time, with it currently being summer time and around a hundred degrees on average during the day. You'd something so casual looking would be easier to dress up in. I don't do commissions, unfortunately, but I can give you a basic idea on how I made it and the others.

Basically I started out by making simple wire "skeleton" for both the body and the hands. It's kind of like how they make wire armatures for stop motion puppets, but scaled up a whole bunch in this case. I used a more stronger close hanger wire, and I "braided" three wires together each time. After I made the wire skeletons and got them attached to their foot boards, I then carved their midsections out of foam and then cut them in half to glue back together once I got the skeletons in place between the two halves. I did the foam(and wire) work for the hands going by this tutorial. www.projectpuppet.com/servlet/… The legs and arms were very basic to do, where all I did was just cut out a sheet of foam in the length and girth needed and then folded them around the wires for their legs and arms, and then folded the seams in and hot glued them closed.

There's allot more details I missed and allot more steps, but that's to just give you a basic idea of how made Cosmo and the other characters.

All Cosmo is just wire, foam, and fabric. She's basically like an amateur Muppet, if that's the best way I can describe how I constructed her. XD

Oh dang, I was wondering about the eyeliner until I read your summary about it. DX 100 degrees... ouch. I'm surprise you weren't sweating up a storm visually(arm pit stains or chest/back sweat stains).
