What if Bill Watterson drew ponies? Well, it'd look a lot better than this, for starters. But I was inspired by a fanfic to work up this little scene of Rainbow Dash teaching Twilight about the dubious joys of breakneck sledding. When I read the scene, I instantly thought of the cover of The Authoritative Calvin & Hobbes, and ran with it.The original fic can be found here: [link] (WARNING: Twidash shipping. I don't know why Twidash makes me go all gooey inside, it just does. Shut up.)
MLP is the property of Hasbro, and Calvin and Hobbes belong to Bill Watterson, of course. This is just a tribute to some of my favorite creators.

If somebody drew Calvin as a pony, the irony would be incredible. He absolutely HATES girly stuff and it would be interesting to see how he reacts to the Equestria Matriarchy. As for Hobbes, I'm not sure if you can draw him as a pony. He's a tiger who sometimes stands on all fours and I'm not sure he'd look much different anyway.

Actually, I kinda like the idea of Dash getting all philosophical when she's hopped up on adrenaline.
