Basis: Hawkman - New 52, Rebirth, New Earth, classic, DCAU, etc

Carter Hall, actually one of many reincarnations of an alien being hailing form the planet Thanagar named Katar Thal, was a rich adventurer who along with his wife Shiera Hall. Reawakened to their true memories and regaining the Thanagarian powers of their prior counterparts, including their powers such as super strength and wings which allow for flight. Eventually equipping their legendary maces and armor crafted from the mysterious "Nth Metal", they became heroes. Notable as part of the Justice Society of WW2. Their youth retained by both their alien physiology and the Nth Metal, they would eventually have a daughter, a Hawk Girl who now assists the Justice League, which Hawkman and Hawkwoman also help.
