Basis: Shadow(orignal, Boom)

An artificial Hedgehog-alien hybrid created by one Gerald Robotnik, he was friends with Maria Robotnik until their home, the experimental ARK space station, was raided by UN soldiers under orders to eliminate those related to the experiments conducted there, whom put down many of the scientists and civilians up there, Maria included. Shadow would be stored on an escape pod and later kepts within a US weapon stockpile.

However, this would not be the end, as Gerald's grandson, Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik raided the facility and found Shadow. Soon they would ally and enact a plan to eliminate Sonic the Hedgehog and take revenge on the world. However, the conflict became rather muddled by various parties and Shadow would end up saving the world when the Ark was set to destroy it, though this effort meant he became lost and obtained Amnesia.

Eventually he would return, a more neutral party, but became a hero and regained his memories during the Black Arms alien invasion, when he confronted and accepted his past. Now a member of the special forces unit GUN, Shadow is a government agent whom follows orders and occasionally faces or assists his rival, Sonic. He is also currently guardian of the green Chaos Emerald, due to his connection to Chaos Energy
