Kiya is a member of the Egyptian Gargoyle Clan I created. After watching the episode, "Grief", I always thought it was kinda cool to learn that Jackal has a "furry" obssession for Anubis and jackals. I'm sure that if a Gargoyle resembled the ancient god of mummification, that Jackal would have a "thing" for her 
Jackal is extremely possessive and controlling of Kiya, his new "pet", but if he had another chance to become Anubis' avatar, I don't think he'd hesitate to try and take advatage of his Gargoyle since he might be a step closer to being similar to her form I think at this point, Jackal would say something like one of him famous lines, "What's the matter? Never seen a cybernetic jackal before?"

Wow, the artist did such a wonderful job with this picture! Your Kiya character is so pretty, and Jackal is, well, a total creeper, as usual (the comment about him being a furry made me laugh though). I'd really be interested in reading the whole story behind this image.

Heheh Yeah, I've come up w/ my own theory around why he's obsessed w/ jackals and Anubis and it's fleshed out more in my story. One of my goals is to finally get around to writing/drawing more of my story; I plan on making it as a webcomic vs writing a fic

Do you have a Fanfic some where about your Gargoyles?

I'm actually in the process of fleshing it out some more, but yes, I do have a story planned. I've written a passage that features Kiya for this year's Gargoyles Anthologies book, but I can't release the story until after a year for legal publication reasons. If you'd like, you can order the Anthologies book here , and I think my story is going to be featured in it! Once I get some more chapters written on Kiya and her adventures, I'll be sure to let you know
