Description I like this drawing a lot. I had no real meaning behind this in mind initially, just a idea that hit me in a dream. Try to figure out yourself what the trinity symbol in the Jessie tree means I'm interested to see what others come up with.

I quite like it. I noticed the Trinity symbol in the thumbnail and couldn't help but take a closer look. Nice job.

I wish the scan was better, but the paper is bigger than most regular scanners.

Hmmm, very interesting depiction of the Jesse tree, especially in comparison to what we may see in a Cathedral.

Hmm symbolism symbolism. -thinks- I'll take a guess, though I'll probably guess incorrectly. As the Jesse tree is symbolic to the lineage of Christ, the best I can assume is that the negative space is symbolic to the people and all else the messiah? Um, haha, far fetched, I'm sorry. I really have no clue! (I feel so foolish x])

I originally had no idea what it meant, its an image that just popped in my head when I was half a sleep one day. I drew it and I loved how it turned out so I posted it. I'm still looking at it to find out all of the meaning. I've been focusing on the trinity symbol in the branches of the tree.

-nod- I noticed that with the cross weaving of the branches. It is very celtic Catholic, if I may state.

I made it around the time I went to the Celtic festival in Maryland. the symbol I pretty sure has some sort of pagan origins but was defiantly given a new meaning in the early Christian Celtic world. I think the symbol also has some Germanic origins which makes sense considering the amount of contact between the Germanics and Celtics. I've always found the Germanic and Celtic cultures interesting, so I like that symbol a lot.

Maybe that is where the tree came from, in relation to your dream.

-nod- I love Germanic, Nordic, and Celtic cultures. Very love art and interesting customs.
