I really loved your tutorial, but I was wondering how to "chop off" bits of my mane and tail. Thanks

What do you mean chop bits of the mane and tail?

You mean of the horse's original tail?

Well, the way the tutorial is is that you use the original tail and smudge it, taking the strands outward. I'll be doing a painting version, hand drawing manes and tails very soon if that's more what you're looking for.

Your amazing, both your tutorials seriously helped me broaden my skills on how to do good looking manes and tails, and then smudge bodies on Photoshop. Seriously, thank you so much! <3

No, no. Thank you! I love to get feedback and love to see that my tutorials are helping others improve and learn new things with Photoshop. I'm planning to have a painting manes/tails tutorial up at some point, but probably won't be until I'm done with this semester (I'll be done at the end of April).

That's awesome, I can't wait for it! I thought I might just show this too ya, but this is my first [good] looking manipulation. The mane and tail really came through on this one. Once again thanks so much. [link]

Heehee. I wasn't. I did for a little while, but after it got past like $40 we stopped. xD
Sweet, I can't wait for drill team to start next year. Atleast we know next year we won't be doing a Steelers/Penguins theme. I hope we get to choose more so of what the theme with be.
It's too bad we can't do like a Hawaiian theme and use music for Lilo & Stitch, cause all the horses could be dressed in hula skirts and coconut bras and leis (I did that for a costume contest a year ago). xD

Oh yes, of course. Maybe we'd just give him swim trunks or a Hawaiian flower shirt. That would be kinda funny, wouldn't it?
