Nu Hai had come across an old dusty scroll in the Jade Palace library, and was intrigued by the words written on it. The sentence itself sounded almost like that of a limerick, so she brought the scroll to Liu Kang to read it to. After she had read the words written on the scroll, a silver aura surrounded Liu Kang and his body began to change from a human to that of a fully grown adult panda. Nu Hai and her brother, Bao are now panicking that they had just turned their uncle into a panda, and unknowingly turned their own father, Po into a human. So until Nu Hai figures out how she's gonna change her dad and uncle back into their original selves, Liu Kang is stuck as a panda and Po will be stuck as a human for a while
