Description
I get asked a lot how I make make my papercut artworks, so here's a tutorial to hopefully inspire more anime papercut artists outside of Japan. Sorry for the huge image, it was hard to make the pictures readable any smaller. Finished artwork: the-old-y.deviantart.com/art/P…To see a papercut artwork being made, watch me cut a quick One Punch Man piece here: youtu.be/UYk9_xXWDuo
*Update* Thank you so much for the very unexpected DD, mercurycode ! And thank you to everyone viewing, faving and commenting on my work! I hope to see more of this style of papercut art that I see on pixiv all the time and wish more people knew about it in the west.

Good.
I checked. Elmer's cement rubber is too expensive in Spain. Are there alternatives?

I chose rubber cement because it doesnt wet and wrinkle paper, but recently I've been using spray glue for the main piece and mod podge for loose pieces applied with a toothpick. Most glues will do really, you just have to apply it lightly so it doesnt soak through.

Lol, I looked at mod podge. I didn't know what is it and I found the same problem: It cost double or more here in Europe, because they are American imported products. I should look for European (or Chinese) equivalent products.
I think I will try the "most glues" piece of advise. I have four different types of glue on my desktop.
Thanks for your answer.

Yeah, whatever equivalent you can find should be good, brand name doesnt really matter. Go with something easy to control, dries quickly, and apply gently.

6 hours? I'd be surprised if I could do this in 6 months.

Because when you're broke but still want a cool poster of an anime you like to put on your wall, you get creative. And also have lots of free time on your hands. This is the true story of why I do what I do.

It's paper craft! There's a category for it on dA, if you'd like to see more examples: www.deviantart.com/browse/all/…
