I started this around 2 years ago and put it away so my drawing skills could simmer a bit; but in the end it didn't make that much of a difference.Ended up being super lazy anyways, haha
About the picture: Roy and Riza are inherently awesome, so I had to draw them even if my anatomy is not up to par. I also tried to slip a few themes into it (i.e. white to black, innocence to corruption - you get the idea).
I personally liked Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood so much more than the original series. How about you?

ThatΒ΄s a wonderful idea! I would never come up with this but you did a very well! The perspective might not always be correct but I couldnt tell whatΒ΄s wrong (IΒ΄m so bad at perspective myself) and I really like the idea of the past and the future "staying back on back".
Especially Roys calm, maybe tired expression is a real eyecatcher here andΒ I love how you painted the background. ItΒ΄s not too detailed and doesnΒ΄t distract from Roy and Riza but you can still tell where they are.

This is such a wonderful mirror image.... how each has a moment where they have to be the other's pillar of strength.Β Also.... I don't know why, but not being able to see their faces just works out fine I think.Β It's like, with their stances and postures, we don't really need to see their faces.... but aside from that, in some of them there's also almost this sense of shame, as if they don't want their faces to be seen.Β ;.;

Amazing picture! Both idea and how you draw it are fantastic. The way how black is changing into white (or rather white into black XD) and I don't know why, I just love how that hall and silhouettes look.
