Here is that Metal Sonic emotional pic I promised. This is set in an AU where Sonic has disappeared mysteriously after a clash with Eggman and his latest automaton-ic creation, the Egg Ship. Everyone is devastated, and searched for the blue hedgehog diligently. However, they do not find him.

Later, at Eggman's base, Metal Sonic sleeps in a storage capsule, for possible future remodeling into an more perfected version, his eyes light up suddenly, his systems boot...and his busts out of the capsule, causing alarms to blare and he begins to run on foot at first, but then propel himself with his jet, which he uses to make a prompt exit through the ceiling, and shooting off toward Capital City.

Later, Amy is being accosted by a mugger, whom has her trapped in an abandoned residential area, she is finally cornered, and the mugger makes his approach, slowly. A scream escapes her, which is then promptly answered with sounds of pain from the mugger, whom falls to the ground on the spot. Amy is about to thank her savior...when she sees the Sonic-like figure before her, and mistakes him for the real thing. She calls her dream-boy's name, and the figure looks to her...with cold, glowing red eyes. Amy, confused, steps back as the figure turns mechanically toward her, and begins to leisurely walk in her direction. Clanks and the sound of hydraulics and gyros report the figure's every step.
