It's time for Fire Emblem: Three Teas Edition

So yeah I did say that I was going to slow down of posting color commissions even though I said that yesterday but seeing how I want to post something as a better way to end things off before I go for a color posting hiatus for a little bit. That and Fire Emblem Three Hopes literally comes out tomorrow so you better believe I dig through the many Fire Emblem pictures that I have on back up (and by many I mean two) and post this for my 582nd color commission as it's tea time featuring Female Byleth once again (Yep this is a picture commissioned by Petrus92 in case you are wondering) but we also got a surprise, another character from Three Houses as we see one of the house leaders from the Blue Lions joining her with Dimitri...*tries to come up with something funny but is having a hard time coming up with one*...Umm...Is this some kind of twisted joke?!...Yeah that's all I got. As I said, I never played Three Houses before and the only reason I know that quote is because several Byleth Montage Smash videos in had this line in the video as you can tell what the context it was for. But don't worry, I'm sure I'm still spoiled free from the game from Smash Bros including what happens with this character...isn't that right Nintendo

So back to the picture, this scene references the tea sessions you can have with other people with Dimitri being the guest of honor and I guess they wanted me to color this well in order to have a perfect tea session which I did but my goodness this took a while with all the details. Thankfully seeing how part is very common in Three Houses playthroughs, it wasn't too hard to get plenty of references of this scene but the details are still present and it made me want to cry a few times. But after some time and plenty of trail and error, I'm pretty happy with how this came out to make it as close to the game as I can get in terms of background and characters. Granted the only regret I have with this picture as I can't seem to color Byleth's eyes correctly to match with the game better from how far away they are. So they are simplified for the picture. Again, sorry. Also to 100% clarify, I didn't make all those sparkle effects you see in the picture as they came with the picture from the original artist so I might as well use it to make the picture stand out a bit more and to be closer to the game.

But yeah that's about. Really like how this came out and I hope you like this as well enjoy playing Fire Emblem Three Hopes
