Description So you guys remember the original Wreckspicable Me pic right? That time when I drew Margo, Edith, and Agnes as Sugar Rush girls? So, anyway, I had no idea how much people would like it! And a few folks asked me if I'd do more of these, which at first I wasn't sure how I'd do that. I mean, what other DM characters would look good as Sugar Rush racers? But well... I figured it out. I decided to do some of the most recognizable characters from the films, those being Gru, Lucy, and Vector (What? You weren't thinking I'd actually do Nefario, did you? I don't think that'd work at all...). So after picking the Racers to trace, those being Rancis, Vanellope, and "The Swizz", I got to work! And yeah I know it's weird I used Vanellope for both Lucy and Margo but that pose just worked too awesomely! So yeah... I ended up putting this on hold for some time, due to my unfortunate lack of DM2 screencaps at the time, and before I knew it, Create shut down and I had to finish this here. The furthest I got on this on DC was the base coloring and some of the shading on Vector, the rest of the shading and outlining (and obviously the text) was recent work. Ultimately it turned out beyond epicly, I think! The charries work better in this style than I would've thought! And oh my goodness, the text! I used Google Translate to help me slap the Japanese words for "Sugar Rush" and "Despicable Me" on the background, and it looks so bright and fun! I probably could've come up with something more clever but ah well, it works! I actually had fun coming up with some ideas as to what vehicles they would drive and what candy would be their theme sweets... Vector's theme sweet is orange creamsicles, and maybe some meringue puffs (that would add to his bulb-ish-shaped vehicles). Lucy, with her pops of turquoise-teal blue and pink, would probably be cotton candy, except you know, really classy cotton candy XD And Gru would probably be black licorice, I guess... Anyway, I had so much fun doing this one and I think it's a great follow-up to the Wreckspicable Me one! And we'll have to see if any others are in store in this style

The Sugar Rush style and the original character art belongs to Disney. Gru, Lucy Wilde, and Vector belong to Universal/Illumination. This partially-traced drawing itself belongs to me.
