Description Here we have a pair of oddball locos from the Wrexham, Mold & Connah's Quay Railway

Firstly we have #3 built by the railways own workshops at Rhosddu in 1901 and when the WMCQ was absorbed into the Great Central Railway would be renumbered #400B . It was withdrawn at an unknown date between then and the grouping.

Secondly we have #6 seen here in its final form. It was a second hand engine originally built by the London & Birmingham Railway in 1846. It would be rebuilt several times over the years culminating in an 0-8-0 behemoth. It would be withdrawn by the London & North Eastern Railway shortly after the grouping in 1923, it was the railways oldest engine.
