………SooooooooooooooI had a few frees at work the other day…was bored…decided to watch a bit of YouTube during my breaks, and try figure out why the HELL my inbox is forever overflowing with Fan Art for this Undertale game I keep hearing about.
…..Damn son XD I cannot even with how amazing this game is. How dare it draw me in like this???
Not even half an hour after finishing watching the first vid, BAM…I now own it on Steam XD Holy hell, I have NEVER bought a game that quickly after watching someone play it, that’s when you know!
Nah, Undertale is a stunning game. The game mechanics are unique, the storyline is deep, meaningful and a real thought-provoker, the MUSIC is head-over-heels AMAZING, and the characters are memorable and inspiring with neat designs that any artist would gladly do fan art for…
So be expecting more FAN ARTS FROM THIS ARTISTS HERE!!
I have a few favorite scenes and characters from the game, but I think one of the most touching characters and moments (considering I ended up tearing up like a big baby
) was this fight with Asriel.I won’t lie…during PhotoShop Flowey’s fight, I had this vision of just stomping on that damned weed for all the mayhem and chaos it had caused, and I was prepared not to show him any mercy.
But this fight here, of him crying and screaming for the player to let him win so it wouldn’t be over…
A real punch to the feels, bruh.
I loved his design, his abilities and powers were really neat, and just overall…Yeah, I liked it a lot, that’s all I can say really without rambling XD

The rainbow streak on his eye is interesting. In addition to contrasting with the otherwise black and white picture, that almost looks like a tear. Was this intentional?

Wow, everyone's getting into Undertale now. But its no surprise, it really is a wonderful game. Asriel's fight had to be my favourite.

At first, I didn't really plan on looking at this game, because I've seen fans sometimes overbuild the hype for it, and you're left disappointed
But curiosity got the better of me and I'm glad I took a look XD It's a beyond amazing game, and I am really looking forward to delving more into the storyline and characters ^^

Undertale's writing is so good that it kinda raised the bar for me. There games where I used to enjoy writing, now I consider their writing sub-par.

I agree with you there. For me, a good story makes or breaks a game 
And this one took it to the next level. In any route you take, it makes you question your actions in a way games just don't anymore.
Like in the genocide route, where it asks 'Do you think you are above consequences?'
I actually had to stop the video I was watching and flail a bit XD
He incorporates everything together so well. Even the 4th wall breaking is done to fit the plot and I just cannot help but commend Toby for an excellent job

Agree on the choice issue. For me, Undertale is one of the very few games where player's choices feel like they actually matter. Come to think of it, UT is the game that has done it the best, at least from the games I've played. Even in Mass Effect all the choices thorough all three games eventually boiled down to an arbitrary number called "war score" (if I remember correctly).
As for the fourth wall - aye, the game really likes to challenge the expectations and at the same time it fits the game's internal logic. A lot of games try to hide the interface or minimise it (i. e. interface disappearing when not performing any actions etc.), but Undertale does the exact opposite by making it de facto part of the plot.
