This...this reminds me of the story written by Chaotic Harmony, in which Octavia is deaf. It's called "The Strings That Make No Sound." It's a really sad fic. Octavia has trouble with a guy who basically tries to take advantage of her, and Vinyl's there to support her.

All that aside...I love it! I always like to see Vinyl's sensitive side; she's always drawn as dominant, crazy, outgoing, and basically your typical party girl. I like to think that she's a little different, either on the inside or just some of the time.
