Unfortunately, that storyline had to be censored, as the episode title "Derpy's Kingdom" was found to be offensive by a focus group who believed it was a demeaning slur against My Little Pony fans.
And then the bronies complained that they WANTED to live in Derpy's Kingdom, and the anti-bronies claimed that that would be entirely fitting, and there was war.

I just wonder... If Tirek was still to weak to absorb alicorn magic, why didn´t they send Twilight, Luna, or Celestia herself (sorry Cadance) instead of Discord to capture him? I mean, that would be doing the safest bet. Oh well.
