Let's be honest: it can be really tricky bringing humor to a tough situation like this. It was a massive deal to the brony fandom, but we do understand that there are complex factors which must be taken into account when it comes to running a business as large as Hasbro. To be honest, it was the nicest and most apologetic cease and desist letter I've read (and I've read a particularly harsh one from a gaming company to a brony). We don't like it, but they let jananimations keep the bronies documentary song and Don't Mine at Night, so that's a start. Anyways, enjoy the comic! ~Boardgamebrony

Found it on equestria daily, and apparently Hasbro has sent a "Cease and Desist" claim to Jananimations, so no more buttons adventures I'm afraid... but he gets to keep his "Don't mine at night" parody and his "Let's go meet the bronies" video.
I think it's unfair that something that makes so much attention to the show, has to be put down by the shows creators... Oh well... let's hope that everything ends well, shall we?

He was making fun of Chain Mail, I'm 9 years old and I don't bat an eyelash. I know it calls attention, but they'll know it's chain mail and easily look away. It was a joke, it's not meant to be scary.

Trust me, I just have personal reasons to hate chain mail. One is that my sister is gullible. Extremely gullible. As in, she's the kind of kid who would look under her bed for monsters after hearing that kind of stuff.

His animator received a Cease and Desist letter from Hasbro. Basically, they asked him to stop his animations because the the art style resembled theirs to much, and he used characters that belonged to them.

So...because Jan was so great at making the best quality fan-made pony animations, and after he busted his butt making them, he was forced to take them down. It's sad how they ruin such a great thing.

I think it was because he was going to make a series of this. A series that looks just like the real thing. I guess it came really close to becoming pirated. Besides, they were certainly merciful to let him keep his other works.

Eenope. It's stated in the pilot by himself "I don't have my cutie mark yet but I don't care about that!" in his amazingly cute voice.
On that note he probably wont join the Cutie Mark Crusaders because he doesn't exactly care about his cutie mark.
