Let's be honest: it can be really tricky bringing humor to a tough situation like this. It was a massive deal to the brony fandom, but we do understand that there are complex factors which must be taken into account when it comes to running a business as large as Hasbro. To be honest, it was the nicest and most apologetic cease and desist letter I've read (and I've read a particularly harsh one from a gaming company to a brony). We don't like it, but they let jananimations keep the bronies documentary song and Don't Mine at Night, so that's a start. Anyways, enjoy the comic! ~Boardgamebrony

It's mean to say..but I haven't been able to watch ANY of Jan's new videos.
1) Because it'll just remind me Button Mash will no longer appear in the videos

Jan's videos aren't making any money! We're making money all the time at conventions for selling who knows how many paintings and prints of fully canon characters! I say we keep drawing Button Mash as a protest!

Hasbro gave their approval to "Don't Mine At Night" which stars both Button Mash and Sweetie Belle. They've reinstated many of his other videos too. Give it time, they'll all be back.

They also let Jan animations do commissions for other users like the Gala Con promo and Pony Rock Anthem, so I doubt his times as a brony animator are over. Just Button Mash.
