ummmm am I the only one who doesn't get those quests anymore I haven't gotten those quests since I became general, and Preston is like my favorite companion besides Codsworth

It may be because you have found the ideal amount of defense to food and water ratio, which means that if the defense count is higher than the food and water count, raider, gunner, super mutant or ghoul attacks is less likely to happen.

probably not the case cuz Abernathy farm has low defense along with some ofΒ my other settlements except Sanctuary, The Castle, Outpost Zimonja, and Boston Airport which are heavily fortified and lots of food and waterΒ .perhaps I'm just lucky but I do still get quests like that from Radio Freedom though but not from preston, but I'm not complaining I actually like the quests cuz theyΒ give me stuff to do.

Seems like you just happened to find the magic ideal setting.
Maybe the settler happiness also has a little bit of influence on how often the attacks happen. But i agree with you that its nice to once in a while get a radio call about some needed assistance, although i once or twice tests if the settlers can handle themselves.

I don't think he does. Β Don't get me wrong, as General of the Minutemen you should be able to order others to go aid settlements. Β Its not Garvey's fault that theres no decent help.

He sure as heck doesn't deserve it. I don't find him annoying at all, really. The one who REALLY deserves it is Diamond City's mayor; he tried to kick Piper out because of a newspaper article! Can you say "disgusting slime-ball"?
