Here's a good suggestion: don't ever draw Spike again. It damages your popularity, and everyone who appreciates this comic would get the same emotional impact if you'd written one about any other young character who isn't as fucking meaningless or generic.

Don't get me wrong this is very adorable and all, but at least to me Twilight is more of Spike's Big Sister than his mom, heck in the episode "Winter Wrap-Up" Spike actually admits that Twilight is not his Mommy & doesn't see her as his Mom, based on Lauren Faust's original intentions if Spike would consider anypony to be his Mom it would have be Celestia since she was supposedly the one who raise Spike after Twilight hatched him from his egg, at least that's what I'm sticking with, anyways great comic.

The 'you're not mommy' thing was a joke. And Spike sure doesn't treat Celestia as a mom.
Twilight has been by Spike's side all this time. She is like a big sister, but she is also kind of the closest thing to a mom he has. We see her telling him not to eat ice cream, comforting him and generally being the closest to him.
