Alyshia: The Blessing
Alyshia wasn't sure what to expect when Evalynn had dragged brought her to Valore's temple. Her new friend had promised beauty and excellence like no other, a work of art to please the gods themselves, but those words held a different meaning in the world that the Valkyrie hailed from. When Alyshia thought of pretty monuments, it was the main bridges of Onea that came to mind. Their simple functionality, the light touches of elegance and artistic embellishment that complimented their sturdy and enduring nature, was something that she and others of the Forged took great pride in. Sure, she'd seen lovely accessories in her time-- her mother had been especially fond of the Chevalier armor she'd kept with her-- but when it came to architecture, well... Aly had a somewhat narrow view on what counted as beautiful.
Clearly, she thought as the two finally made it to the temple's doorstep, her expectations had been set low.
