Story:
Sergeant Mac Gargan was a weapons expert stationed in Afghanistan, but after a horrific bombing raid, he suffered injuries that all but killed him. He was the perfect candidate for the first Spider-Slayer program Kingpin had put in place for Octavius’ empire. They hijack his body on its way over to the United States, and use his brain dead condition to control his mind entirely for their purposes. He becomes a living weapon, a cybernetic monster, programmed solely to kill Spiderman, the second villain he faces as the wall crawler.
