Description
Way back in the olden days, before even I was born, there was an American actor and musician named Bing Crosby; he made some really goofy movies with Bob Hope. And he sang "White Christmas". He was kind of a big deal. One of my better monochrome portraits, I think. Sadly, this one still hangs in my gallery, but I think one day I'll probably run into a big Bing fan. This is 8" by 10", watercolour.

I know all too well. Back about ten years ago, one of our fast-food places started giving out Pokeballs with their kid's meals. We ate so much junk food, but wound up with dozens of Pokeballs. We used them to decorate the Christmas tree. XDD

I'm embarrassed to have been a part of that craze a while back.
I didn't understand the entire concept of throwing money around for cardboard rectangles, and pretending they are animals, then making them fight for whatever's left of your pride and dignity. I still don't, today.
Wouldn't it be promoting violence against animals, and animal cruelty? Come on! They're housed in plastic balls that fit into your front trouser pocket, oh which isn't at all suspicious btw.
"Come touch my pokeballs!"
Bah, the phallic imagery and the suspicious presentation of characters in the Pokemon industry makes the damn thing more or less, a not-so-child-friendly thing.
Dx The very fact that there's a girl travelling around the place with two teenage boys just proves my point.
XP I'm ranty today because I'm cold. 8( But, yeah, pokemon's one of the stupidest things to have come to life besides the creation of Super Yogurt.
Yes. There is such a thing as super yogurt.

8( I can't believe I spent money on pokemon cards. I was forced to buy them by my doting friends (that had the brain capacity of a fern) and made to play the game. I gave up on the thing during the first round. It was rubbish.
RUBBISH.

I never bought the cards - I thought the card game was completely stupid. I bought the video games. The animals are occasionally cute, but the cruelty is pretty incredible for a children's game and television show. Completely unnecessary. I do think, however, that the relationships between the characters was purely platonic, but they are runaways, after all.
Hey! You're right! Glorifying running away from home and fighting trained beasts! Stop the insanity! XDD

I agree as far as Onyx is concerned, but I do like a good Graveller. I have no doubt that they'll eventually come up with a lamp Pokemon.
Pokemon yaoi? Ew. That's almost as twisted as the Noodle/2D stuff that was going around for a while. D:

DX Stupid rock, whenever I'm travelling in a cave, that thing has to come up with the level of 1 or 2 and waste my time.

I guess I like Graveller because of the dance they do in Pokemon Snap. They're just hilarious - they're like Michael Flatley and Lord of the Dance! XDD

That's it! Sandshrew! Shakespeare wrote "The Taming of the Sandshrew" about them! I imagine they'd be pretty good - crunchy on the outside, but with a soft gooey center!

I think it's really unreasonable that they invent all these animals that we can't really have. I know I could use a Jigglypuff, for one. You should see me singing the Jigglypuff song in the grocery store. XDD

Teenager? Pepper's still going through it. XD We have a new reality-TV game show here where the people pretend they're pirates. Pepper insists that we watch it so she can get pointers on how to become one some day.
I think Threadless makes that shirt.

Hope they don't make the mistake of adding the walk the plank bit. That never happened with pirates. No recorded history of it. 8l

Seriously? I guess they must have just come up with it for the movies. The thing about reality TV like that is that it makes me nervous - I get too concerned and start to worry about people and the dumb choices they make. XD
