Description
This young man's name is Garu, and is the love interest of Pucca, a Korean/Yank television character. It's a great show- amusing family viewing.This is felt, about ten or twelve inches high, based on the Pucca Plushie pattern I designed a couple of weeks ago: [link] . He's hand-stitched.

Welllllll, I started out as a lawyer and hated it, so I just quit and started painting for fun. I joined an artists' co-op in 2001 where we split the rent and utilities. Then about 20 months ago we ran out of space, so I opened my own gallery - by that time, I got enough work through DA to make it for a while without relying on the locals to come in and buy stuff off the walls. But it's been going pretty well. Good location next to a frame shop helps a lot, and I still get a lot of work through DA. So far, so good.

DA has been a big part of it - by getting comments and suggestions, I have been able to improve my work, and a lot of people order portraits from me - I've shipped paintings to over 20 countries!

Aw, thanks! I used to make a lot of teddy bears, and I made my daughter's doll clothes when she was little. Sewing is a great stress-breaker.

Its a good thing to do to pass time and to relax and think and be creative. It is quite an unusual skill of yours and its great that you have it. My mum and nonna used to sew lots of things. I have a blanket and i used to have all these jumpers but they all got small of course.
