Behold, an art!Bleg, this took too long. I've been playing with it for months, and finally got it out of my system and into the world, yay!
The dragon here is male, btw. His name is Izain, or "Memory of Spring." His mate, Kaisa, is probably out hunting. Sleepy dragons and sleepy children and sleepy eggs. Such a peaceful little spike-cave they have here.
This is a photo rather than a scan...I might reupload later if I decide I'm not happy with it. It definitely loses some of the texture and detail, like the little gemstones (that are supposed to be for decorating fingernails, ohohoho) and the different layers of paper, and lots of the shiny bits from various materials. But as an initial glimpse, I'm happy with it.

Even with the dragons looking quite powerful and menacing it's still a wonderfully sweet scene. Big daddy Izain is so cute as he sleeps so sweetly curled up with one or two of his babies (I had trouble picking them out at first) and the unhatched; though I'm not sure if that lovely woman is also one of his or just a dear friend who came over to help with the little ones while Mommy was out hunting. The Asian styling looks fantastic. Then the fiery cave contrasted with the beautifully cool night scene (at the literal mouth of the cave) makes a very comfortable and heartwarming atmosphere. Can't beat such a loving and peaceful mood. Thanks for sharing the beautiful slumber scene.
