Description This is perhaps the best picture I have ever done! The detail, the background, I even finally have a little logo for my series in the corner there and it looks good!! I think this is one of my best works as an artist, and I couldn't be happier! If anyone wants to know more about my original universe, please drop me a comment or note!

Bio:

Out of the entirety of the Arik fleet, with all its many well seasoned theological warriors and soldiers, there are few of the 400 Generals that carry the same aura of mysticism as General Ratharmane. Tales of his rage and the seeming inability to die, General Ratharmane is known not just for his brutal effectiveness, ferocity, tactical prowess, and distinctly large chin (By Arik Standards), but for the battle scars which mark each attempt on his life, every battle, and every instance of his survival and victory with unshakable honor and commitment to the Arik High Chancellors.

Gaining his the eye patch and torn lip flesh which would quickly come to define his appearance early on in his career, Ratharmane's gruesome appearance and tenacity saw him promoted at a comparatively young age to the esteemed rank of General, spending only a short time as a soldier and even less so as a Major.

It was during one of his earliest missions as a General, that Ratharmane lead his Holy War Fleet to ambush a Dregotion Admiral infamous to the Arik along their boarder. A siege and boarding action saw the newly appointed General aboard the Admiral's Flagship and the beginning of the tales of his immortal fury. During the fight the Dregotion Admiral managed to gain the upper hand against the young Ratharmane, using superior tactics and misdirection, and broke one of his legs, severely staggering him. With his mobility compromised, it did not take long for the well seasoned Dragotion Admiral Et'bariaz to pick open his defenses and land a crippling strike, impaling the base of one of General Ratharmane's spinal columns. Keen to make an example of the brazen Arik for the attempt on both his fleet and himself, Admiral Et'bariaz set about cleaving from they paralyzed Ratharmane his tail before laying open his stomach, and leaving him to perish from blood-loss after his departure(one of the great Ark dishonors).

Left broken and largely immobilized, maddened with bloodlust at being defiled by what the Arik viewed as an unclean race, and the attempted dishonor, the injured Ratharmane would use an Arik Medical Stapler to seal his stomach wound shut, crawl three decks down to rally with his men, having the bone in his leg set, and receiving dosages of the Arikanian drug Rekodine before leading the unit to the engine room of the flagship and planting Implosion Charges to the reactor.

Despite barely being able to stand, the team successfully destroyed the vehicle and returned from the mission where Ratharmane would be told that he would never be able to walk again due to the spinal injury, and should retire from his station to a support rank, or attempt glorious Death-By-Honor against the Dregotion. Refusing both of these options, through his own personal perseverance, use of his family doctors, and his own intense physical training, General Ratharmane managed to restore his ability to walk, fending off challenges to his fitness for combat and swearing Eternal Vengeance against Admiral Et'bariaz. However, despite his recovery, the General was never able to recover the lost muscle mass in his legs leaving them spindly and thin, only adding more to his reputation among the ranks as a vengeful spirit or undying body.

Some years upon his recovery, the General lead a number of campaigns to Cleanse their space, refining the brilliant edge of his mind and surpassing his previous skills with his spear and weaponry, before enacting his vengeance against the Dregotions. His left arm was lost in a surprise attack within Dregotion space, exterminating many of the Dregotion Royal families and encountering Admiral Et'bariaz once more, killing his Subordinate Et'Pavori, before the Arik were forced back into their territory, ensuring the two pair a long and bitter history with one another.

With his survival and miraculous recovery from his spinal injury quickly becoming known throughout the Upper Echelons of the Arik High Council, General Ratharmane was given special commune with the Holy Doctors of the Arik. Using their access and knowledge of their Ancient Gods' technology, General Ratharmane was gifted the last piece of what would become his iconic appearance; a prosthetic limb bound and knitted into the remains of his limb which required of the General learning how best to tolerate the monstrous appendage.

The prosthetic sports three large digits for grasping and brute strength, but lacked the dexterity to handle the reloading of Arikanian Ammunition cells in weapons outside of their Energy Spears. Two spindly fingers that were suited to the task were added and jointed to operate with the thumb. Defying more practical thinking however, were a two piece claw/clamp which has a bladed finger which is good for cutting, and the smaller forked gripper under it which is good for crushing and cutting like a crab claw. Perhaps handy in VERY specific situations, imbued with a very strong grip, but a very unfamiliar and unruly shape to Arik which presented some difficulty in spear handling without great practice. The connection point at the elbow has fibers that plugged up into the muscle of the bicep, making it stronger and allowing an unprecedented level of control to the prosthetic, responsiveness, strength, and some limited tactile feedback, knitting to the bone for added strength of the connection, but forever affixing its ten pound mass to him, and providing minor if not frequent inconvenience for the rest of his life.

While it became an instantly recognizable signature to other Arik, originally, General Ratharmane hated this Divine Gift of the Arik Doctors considerably, as well as the designer and doctor that made it. But being a warrior with certain expectations, and the Ariks' limited access to medical procedures and prosthetics to begin with, as well as the Blessed Nature of the technologies which spawned it, those thoughts were swallowed down and gotten used to over the years.

However inconvenient such things as sleeping and day-to-day activities were made, having such a distinct appearance that connected back to Glorious Service and an unassailable reputation, as well as his affluent lineage, Ratharmane has sired, and has been requested to sire, many offspring throughout the Arik Empire.
