Description
This picture is sponsored by ~ octoberbrideFinally, after a week of silence I finally made a new pic for this silly website. This time it's ~octoberbride 's trade. She wanted me to draw her OC Veros with Chester. First I wanted to make a pic of them frolicing arround in a flowerfield, not realizing that they're on the edge of a cliff, but I decided to mock romance in another way and went for the Italian approach.
You must be either brain dead or really good at ignoring any kind of media if you haven't seen that scene in Disney's Lady and the Tramp where those dogs actually managed to have dinner at the back-alley of an italian restaurant and eat some spaghetti with that inevetable "OH, we're both eating the same straw, let's not break it in half and kiss eachother"... M-M-M-M-M-M-MONSTER CLICHE-CHE-CHE-CHE!
Anyway, hope ya like Mrs. Kuethe, otherwise the AIVD will hunt me down and attack me with wooden cooking spoons.

What a great idea to use that scene and interpret it your own way. We all know where this idea comes from and it's always nice to see how one interprets it.
Veros looks a bit taken aback by the spaghetti but gathers herself quickly knowing what it may lead to. She really should've picked pizza. Hah. As for Chester, he seems to be lost in his own little world as he stares at the food wondering why on earth it matters that it's spaghetti. I can picture him thinking, "It's just spaghetti, why does it matter? Or am I missing something..." The chef seems aware of what the spaghetti insinuates, but doesn't want to make a big deal about it.
I have a feeling Angi's going to love how this turned out. Wonderful job.

Yes, the spaghetti is quite overwhelming, hehe. I like the way you made an analyse of this pic. I like it when people actually think about my work.
And that chef is actually me dressed up as an Italian... chef. Being kinda cynical (sp?) as usual.
