This is kind of a promotional poster for "The 3 Not-So-Princesses" and also a new years greeting.

"Peach's eyes reflect the ever changing colors of the television that displays the daily horrifying happenings of the outside world and various commercials for products that no one really wants but buys anyway. Peach lifts her head from her TV-induced coma as she hears the harsh sound of the front door's lock.

'Hey, Peach, picked up yer package', Daisy shouts through the hallway. Peach lifts herself from the couch, 'Thanks, Dais', she replies as she walks in Daisy's direction. 'Well, it ses it's from sum Artrix, no idea who or what that is', Daisy speculates. Rosalina was with Daisy, and she puts away her coat as she fires a taunt at Peach; 'Ooh, maybe it's from a secret admirer'.

'Hush, Rosie', Peach quickly replies, but she has trouble hiding that she likes the idea, 'Well, let's see what it is'. Peach picks up a key and uses it jagged side to open the box. It doesn't clarify much, as Peach is greeted with a card that reads nothing but 'One last time, LOL'. Peach reads the card out loud and puts it away, 'One last time what? Is there sumthin' yer not tellin' us?', Daisy asks as Peach reaches for the other contents. 'I... I'm just as confused as you are', she replies.

Peach then lifts a brightly pink dress from its container. It's clearly not meant to be taken very seriously, as it is made from cheap plastic and polyester materials, and the attached price tags suggests that it costs a little over 4000 Credits, which is about enough to fill up Daisy's car. Yet, something seemed oddly familiar to it, she just couldn't put her finger on it. 'Well, I'm going to try this on', she says.

A small moment later, she returns from her room, wearing the pink contraption. Wrinkles are everywhere, and the dress isn't long enough to reach the floor. 'How do I look', Peach asks her room mates, but she already knows the answer; 'ridiculous', Daisy replies in a somewhat sarcastic manner. 'At least it makes a nice Halloween costume', Rosalina adds. She takes out a plastic crown, the manufacturer's sticker is still on it, and so are the jewels, also stickers. 'Here, try this on', she suggests to Peach with a small giggle.

Peach takes the crown, which weights less than the tray of a TV dinner, and carefully puts in on her head. She tries to keep her head steady to prevent the crown from falling off. Then, a sense of familiarity came over her, as if it was the most usual thing in the world. She began fantasizing about being the princess of a magical land, a place that is green, pristine and clean, a place without pollution, traffic and the constant struggle to earn money just to make a living. It's her dream she had as long as she can remember.

This 'Artrix' knew exactly what she wanted, and a tear rolls down her cheek. For once in her life, Peach felt like she was a real princess"

The irony is that the sender is the one who put her in this crapsack world to begin with.
