Description
After Courtney and Ducan, I asked the Total Drama Island community what other characters they wanted me to draw, with some obvious and less-obvious results. I present to you my revisit to the TDI franchise.I guess there's a little something for everyone. I'm surprised that no one requested Heather, but she's here anyway, and Chris, for good measure. I'm not sure if anyone asked for Linsday, but she's there because Heather's there.
Gwen and Trent were particularly interesting to draw, and I took a lot of liberty to add all kinds of belts to Gwen's very vaguely defined goth-ish outfit. Oh, and Izzy, needs no introduction. And while I'm at it, Noah's there because he's awesome because he doesn't care.
With a quick background slapped behind it, it seems finished. Now let's move on to the next victim: Superjail!

Wow. So I've seen the show & don't even like it very much, & in your gallery I didn't recognize by the abbreviation what it was.. But from far away it looked like brilliant artwork so i had to take a look; an i was right. Very well done once again, mang

It's actually quite healthy to widen your view and seek out shows from different genres. Of course, one should not overdo it to the point where there's no personal taste left. Both shows have their appeal in different ways. For TDI, it's the art style, for Superjail, it's the wanton destruction. That's my take on it.
To get back to your earlier question. Nowadays, I try to avoid crossovers unless two things really melt together. Crossovers for the sake of crossover tend to feel kind of awkward.
I use Photoshop CS3, with ArtRage 2 for the initial sketch.

Judging from the way she dresses, one would draw that conclusion. She does go to deep lows to reach her goals, though.

Wow, you really captured every character's personality so beautifully here! I think your Chris could use just a bit more saccharine, but that could be because Chris is my personal fave and I'm more inclined to be fussy about him. Anyway, you certainly got his cockiness in, so I have very little to complain about. And your ever so dour Noah makes me smile in contrast . . . I also must say that although Trent is probably my very least favourite character on the show, I really like what you did with him here. You gave his pretty-boy factor some gnarl and I definitely approve ^_^ I really can't get over how wonderful your Heather is, either! She's perfect and I adore the style you used on her. In fact, I love how you used a slightly different style on each of them, yet they don't look so different that they don't belong in the same picture. Aside from my pickiness with Chris, the only other crit I'd throw is just an advisory to watch your proportions. Heather's arms are a tad small . . . Lastly, I have throw in a bit of praise for the background. It's subtle, but very effective and very consistent with the backdrops we see in the series. Muchos kudos for that!
You have drawn one of my very favourite pieces of fanart for this series, and I commend you for it! Please keep drawing TDI, won't you? This fandom needs your skill and originality! I'm off to peruse more of your gallery, noo . . .
P.S. Have you ever considered drawing Chef? I'd love to see him in your style, you could probably have a field day with him ^_^

Thank you for this very flattering comment, it is very useful. And I must comment that I like your takes on the franchise as well, and I apologize for not commenting on them (although I do recall faving them).
It has been pointed out before, but I do recognize that Heather's arms are... odd. I was kind of experimenting there because I always thought of my arms of being too thick. Looks like I have crossed the other extreme.
For the time being, I don't plan to do another full blown TDI piece like this one, however, I'm sure I'll sketch some characters during a moment of boredom. I'll make sure Chef is among them (Admitted, I don't think Chef is all that funny, but there are many ways to portray him).

here are reasons most people never request heather XD, but besides that, it looks pretty good ^^, though if i just may say, i noticed heather's arms look a little too skinny, its like she has no meat on them bones. and the tip of chris's nose looks kinda funny, can;t tell if its the shading or if its the curve part of the nose. Honestly i think Gwen looks the best in this pic ^^, and you capture Izzy's creepy psychotic smile dead on XD

Chris' nose is supposed to have a little shape like that, but shading it may had sufficed.
And yes, Heather's arms are either too long or too skinny, I think it's a combination of both.

Of course you're always free to suggest other characters, but for the time being this'll be the last TDI piece. I drew the characters that I wanted to draw and I wish to move on to other shows that I'd like to redesign.
Of course, there's always a chance of a bunch of sketches of other TDI characters popping up.

Nice as always dude, not really much I can say. You got their expressions and mannerisms down pat (Izzy creeps me out with that smile of hers but then again she is nuts). Heather does look a little bit off on her pose, her arm looks a bit too skinny there but other then that it all good. Great job.

I did realize quite early on that something was odd about Heather's arms, but it was more or less an experiment to carry on because I wanted to see how it would turn out. For a long time, my characters tend to look kind of tubby, so perhaps it would've been more elegant.
Of course there are limits to this, thanks for pointing it out.
