Explodent are unusually friendly for a mountain dwelling species. Their huge ears don't just give them exceptional hearing but emotion sensing capabilities as well. The spark on the end of their tail seems to respond to the emotions they sense. Positive emotions such as love, or happiness make the spark smaller and negative emotions such as anger or sadness seem to make it advance further down the tail. If Explodent sense too strong of emotion the spark on their tail grows too large and will ignite their body and cause the Explodent to die in a fiery explosion.

Metamorphic Tree:
Can not metamorphosize.

*Emotion Fuse will work like an absorbing ability like water absorb but for stat lowering moves instead. Each attack absorbed will heal a moderate amount of HP and changes depending on the strength of the move used. Each time the ability activates it begins a countdown of 3. Once the countdown reaches zero Explodent will self-destruct and deal fire damage equal to its HP before self-destructing to all entities friend or foe on the field. Or something like that idk I ain't a game balancer I'm a designer. (leave a comment if you know better)
