I've been meaning to go for ages, I went traveling a while back with the intention of going to Japan, but I ended up staying in China for a lot longer than I'd originally thought that I would and never quite got that far east.

I think that the easier way to get to Japan is to be an English teacher, though the market is a lot smaller than it used to be.

Japan is a totally mad country. I've never seen somewhere so green or with so many mountains. It makes Yellowstone like the Gobi desert.

Okay but my sister wants to teach Kindergarden because she found out how much she likes working with little children.  For me, I just want to earn money when I'm an adult by making art online like I often do.  But it would be nice to travel to Japan and learn more about it.

It's a pretty expensive place to visit, and I found that without knowing much Japanese it was quite a hard place to navigate.

I can read basic Chinese so I could read some of the road signs etc, so it wasn't impossible.

A lot of people find that it's best to book into a hostel with an English club, they let you stay for cheap in exchange for several hours conversational English teaching a day. At least that's how it used to be, I'm not so sure today.

Definitely worth visiting, even better if you already know somebody who lives there so that you can sleep on their couch to save money. I really enjoyed my time there, I have about a million pictures of Fluttershy doing stuff in Japan.
