Tribe Info
This is the Infernape leader of the Elemental Monkey tribe, named Hanzo by a friend. Its gender is unknown, and hates being labeled as a gender because "Gender is but a means to segregation", and that "Gender means nothing to an infertile beast of the land." Yes, Hanzo is infertile. They are a very old and wise monkey as well.
I messed around with a few brushes on Photoshop to give the line-art a moist feel to it. I also tried using a halftone texture on it.

It's all about the details, darling. And yes, it's a floral-like design lol In the middle is a specially-cut Fire Stone ;3; Hanzo's outfit consists of a water stone cut small and into earrings as well

Well every PokéPerson in Hanzo's tribe has to carry around an everstone around with them always, with the exception of the elders. If they don't carry it with them and evolve, they will be sacrificed to the PokéGods! 8D

It's a very strict-to-everything tribe. Usually, what Hanzo does, is require every non-Elder to have a tiny shard of an Everstone in their gums to replace a tooth. When they are worthy enough to become an Elder, Hanzo removes the Everstone tooth. It's painful, but that becomes obsolete because they immediately evolve afterwards, and the pain from that isn't a ball in the park LOL

Oh gosh!! I don't know why, but I just imagined an alternate universe were the Everstones were distributed as bling, and upcoming gangsters that aspired to move up the ranks could not because they were tricked by Hanzo LMAO

It's basically based off of the Taíno indians in which inhabited parts of the Caribbean centuries ago, namely the chief in this painting . I added a touch of PokéMon zest to it (the feathers and leathers being based off of actual PokéMon plumage and furs), while removing parts that seemed like a fire-hazard (like the wings that the chief was wearing on his back… very dangerous).
Hanzo is a masculine Infernape with an elderly woman's voice, I imagine LOL
